11/12/09 SCAO Administrative Memorandum 2009-05: Reporting of Magistrate and Referee Contact Information.
In order to comply with Supreme Court Administrative Order 2009-6, chief judges must submit local administrative orders to the State Court Administrative Office to identify individuals appointed as magistrates or referees in their court.

  The Michigan Department of Natural Resources maintains a helpful bench guide for courts to use in commonly encountered wildlife conservation law violations.  
11/5/09 The Michigan Supreme Court today released the names of chief judges who will head Michigan's trial courts for the next two years.
 
  SCAO would like to remind courts to update their Court Employee Compensation Surveys in CECS on MCAP each time employee compensation levels or staffing levels change. For more information, please refer to the memo from Laura Hutzel, Statistical Research Manager, dated June 2, 2009.

  The Center for Public Policy Studies, through a grant from the State Justice Institute (SJI), has made available a bench guide on immigration issues for state trial court judges. The guide's intent is to enable judges to identify those cases in which a criminal conviction or sentence could have collateral consequences on an individual's immigration status.

  The State Court Administrative Office (SCAO) recently posted a Request for Proposals (RFP) to evaluate the Genesee County Problem Solving Child Support Court Project. This RFP provides interested bidders with information to prepare and submit proposals for consideration by the SCAO. If you know of someone interested in submitting an RFP, please notify them of the posting.
